E-Discovery Day celebrations will take place tomorrow, December 3, 2020. The day is an annual recognition of every aspect of eDiscovery—legal technology, services, and law—and unites the legal community in a global movement of collaboration, education, and networking.
E-Discovery Day brings together lawyers, paralegals, and other legal professionals from corporations, law firms, government agencies, academia, and service and technology providers in a vendor neutral way to recognize the hard work they have done throughout the year. Given that we have had over 2000 case decisions since January 1 of this year and the challenges presented by Covid-19, this year more than any other we should make sure to celebrate.
Now in its 6th year, the day will include over 30 webcasts, virtual, and online social events with supporters such as ACEDS, BrightTalk, Georgetown Law CLE, Haystack ID, Women in eDiscovery, IPRO, and many others.
Included in this year’s event is one we are looking forward to featuring our CEO and founder, Kelly Twigger. Kelly will be participating in the ACEDS IDEAA Committee’s diversity and inclusion panel titled “The Myth of Women in the Workplace”. The panel will be moderated by committee member and ACEDS DC Chapter President Monica Harris and also features eDiscovery Manager at RPC Emily Wyllie-Ballard. Attendees will also be able to participate during the event sharing their experiences and suggestions for overcoming obstacles.
